Nomad Credit Referral Program Terms & Conditions
Referral Program Eligibility
To be eligible to make a referral, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age;
- Not be a subsidiary, affiliate or promotional agency of Nomad Credit.
- Be a registered user of Nomad Credit.
How to Make a Referral
For the purposes of these Referral Terms, the person making a referral shall be the “Referrer” and the person being referred shall be the “Referee”. The Referrer and Referee cannot be the same person.
To make a “Valid Referral”: (i) the Referrer must send the Referral Link that Referrer received from Nomad Credit (“Referral Link”) to the Referee; (ii) the Referee must use the Referral Link to sign up and fill out their profile evaluation search with Nomad Credit; (iii) the Referee must not have completed a profile evaluation search for university options with Nomad previously; (iv) the Referee must not have obtained a list of universities, a university report, or any prepared application for submission to an eligible Nomad Credit academic institution through use of Nomad Credit previously; (v) the Referee must not have applied, contacted or have been contacted by an eligible Nomad Credit academic institution partner for purposes of admissions previously; (vi) the Referee must submit their USA University applications for admission with the assistance of Nomad Credit and not on their own or with other study abroad consultant and (vii) the Referee must complete the first year at an eligible Nomad Credit academic institution.

Eligible Academic Institution Partners
Nomad Credit has relationships with a select list of financial and academic institution partners. Through these partners, we can offer exceptional service and often expedited processing. In order to qualify for the Referral Program, the Referee, with Nomad Credit’s assistance, must apply to, be admitted to, and complete the first year of study at an eligible Nomad Credit academic institution partner. Devices Used and Multiple Referrals
The Referee must start their profile evaluation search through Nomad Credit using the same internet browser and device they used to click the referral link. Referrals are limited to one per Referee (meaning one Reward for enrollment at an academic institution). In the event that Referee clicks multiple referral links, the referral credit will be attributed to the unique referral link that was clicked first. A Referrer may only receive Referral once per Referee (meaning once for a single admitted student).
Maximum Number of Referral Rewards
The Referrer’s Referral Rewards are limited to the following Rewards cap: up to 25 Valid Referrals who enroll at a Nomad Credit academic institution partner. This Referral Reward Program begins on October 1, 2018. Referrals made prior to October 1, 2018 will not count towards the above-stated cap.
Amount of Rewards
The Referee’s who enroll at an eligible Nomad Credit academic institution and complete their first year:
- Referrer - $250
- Referee - $250
Referral Reward Payments
Payment of any Referral Reward will occur either via a payment through paypal.com sent to the email address provided by Referrer, as applicable, or by any other means determined by Nomad Credit. Nomad Credit will use reasonable efforts to make payment of any Referral Reward within thirty (60) days of first year completion of referee academic institution. All federal, state and local taxes and duties are the sole responsibility of Participants. Payments may not be transferred or substituted. Upon cancellation of the Referral Program, any unredeemed Referral will be forfeited. Failure to redeem the Reward (e.g., through PayPal or by cashing the check) within sixty (60) days of Nomad Credit sending the Reward may result in a forfeiture of the Reward, in Nomad Credit’s discretion.
Any participant seeking to participate in the Referral Program must comply with all applicable laws, regulations and policies, including but not limited to the following:
- Referrers are prohibited from soliciting financial product or academic institution admission applications.
- Referrers are prohibited from using bulk email distribution, automated devices (e.g., bots), SPAM or third parties to make a Referral.
- Referrers and Referees may not engage in any act or conduct that Nomad Credit believes to be unfair or deceptive (e.g., hacking, use of fake email addresses or accounts, use of fictitious identities).
- Referrers and Referees may not abuse, harass or threaten other Referrers and Referees, Nomad Credit Customers or representatives of Nomad Credit.
- All email or social media posts must be made in a personal manner, not on behalf of Nomad Credit.
- By submitting the email address of a Referee or other contact, you represent that you have that person’s prior consent.
- You must not compensate, or accept any form of compensation from, individuals whom you refer to Nomad Credit through the Referral Program.
Your participation in the Referral Program is solely as an independent contractor. Neither you nor Nomad Credit intend to establish an employment relationship and you are not entitled to any benefits.
If any provision in these terms are held to be invalid, void, or unenforceable, such provision (or the part of it that is making it invalid, void or unenforceable) will be struck and not affect the validity of and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
Nomad Credit may suspend or terminate the Referral Program or a participant’s ability to participate in the Referral Program at any time and for any reason.
Nomad Credit reserves the right to review and investigate all referral activity and suspend or terminate Nomad Credit Accounts, disqualify Participants and/or cancel Referral Awards if Nomad Credit believes Participant has violated any law, regulation or policy.
