The Amuthan Medical Research Fund supports research that advances health equity, quality of life, and clinical care for under-served tropical populations, focusing on public health, infectious diseases (especially Typhoid and Dengue), and health services.

Eligibility

Be admitted to the Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery program at James Cook University
Be enrolled full-time (minimum 12 credit points per teaching period)
Be of good academic and professional standing
Be undertaking a summer research project

Preference will be given to a 2nd or 3rd year student.

Value
