This award is intended for graduate students at San Francisco State University who are pursuing a Master's degree in Asian American Studies or a related field within the College of Ethnic Studies. The scholarship offers a partial award of USD 1,250 and welcomes applicants from diverse national backgrounds.

Qualification Requirements

• Applicants of all nationalities are eligible.
• Enrollment in the College of Ethnic Studies at SFSU, with a focus on MA in Asian American Studies or MA in Ethnic Studies, is required.
• A demonstrated interest in Asian American literature, art, activism, culture, the South Asian experience in the US, or the intersection of Asian American Studies with gender studies and/or queer theory is necessary.
• A minimum GPA of 2.5 is required.
• Financial need will be taken into consideration during the selection process.
• Full-time enrollment for the upcoming semester is mandatory.
