Annal Ambedkar Overseas Higher Education Scholarship Scheme 2026

The Annal Ambedkar Overseas Higher Education Scholarship Scheme 2026 is designed for residents of Tamil Nadu belonging to SC, ST, or SCC communities. It enables eligible students to pursue Masters, PhD, or Post-Doctoral research at reputed foreign universities. The scheme provides full financial support to cover the costs of international education.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must belong to SC, ST, or SCC community and hold a valid community certificate.
• Must have secured admission offer from a QS top-1000-ranked foreign university.
• Age limit is under 35 years for Postgraduate and 40 years for Ph.D. programs as of 1st April of the selection year.
• Family income must not exceed Rs. 8 lakhs (Slab 1) or Rs. 8–12 lakhs (Slab 2).
• Applicants must not have previously received this scholarship.

Scholarship Value

• Slab 1 (family income up to Rs. 8 lakhs): up to Rs. 36 lakhs overall.
• Slab 2 (family income Rs. 8–12 lakhs): up to Rs. 24 lakhs overall.
• The funding covers tuition fees, living expenses, visa fees, medical insurance, economy-class airfare, equipment allowance, and applicable taxes.
