This scholarship, established by the Faculty of Health, supports first‑year students in the Bachelor of Midwifery programme at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington. It provides partial funding of NZD 1,000 to help cover initial course‑related costs.

Eligibility

Applicants must be enrolling for the first time in the Bachelor of Midwifery programme at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington.

Selection

Scholarships are awarded by a selection panel based on the content of the applicant’s personal statement.

Application Process

A completed online application must be submitted by 4:30 pm on the closing date, which is 16 January 2026. All required supporting documentation, including references, must also be received by 4:30 pm on that date.
