Brian Smith Memorial Entrance Scholarship at University of Waikato 2025

This undergraduate scholarship supports study in Business Management at the University of Waikato. The award provides Partial Funding of NZD 1,000 and is intended for new entrants.

Eligibility

Applicants must:

• Be a New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, NZ resident class visa holder, or an Australian citizen/permanent resident living in New Zealand.
• Have achieved at least a Merit in NCEA Level 2 or an equivalent qualification (CIE or IB).
• Be currently studying at NCEA Level 3 (or equivalent) toward University Entrance in the application year.

Students taking a gap year may still qualify if they:

• Have not begun any degree‑level study during the gap year.
• Attained Merit at both NCEA Level 2 and Level 3 and met University Entrance requirements.
• Provide a clear explanation of their gap‑year purpose.

Scholarship Details
