Care Leavers Bursary at University of Surrey 2025

The Care Leavers Bursary is intended to assist UK nationals who are undertaking an undergraduate program at the University of Surrey. This award offers partial financial support to help manage the costs of study.

Eligibility Criteria

• Must be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student.
• Must hold UK nationality.
• Must be responsible for full tuition fees (this does not include students whose fees are covered by the NHS or other full funding arrangements).

Scholarship Benefits

Students who qualify will receive a yearly bursary of GBP £3,000. Furthermore, a single payment of GBP £500 is provided upon completion of the degree to help with relocation expenses.

This award can be renewed for each year of the undergraduate course, as long as the student makes satisfactory progress. It does not apply to any Professional Training placement or repeated periods of study.

Those wishing to apply for the Care Leavers Bursary may do so via the University of Surrey scholarship portal. The final date to submit an application is February 28, 2026.
