Carlsberg Foundation Internationalisation Fellowships 2025
The Carlsberg Foundation invites international researchers to apply for its 2025 Internationalisation Fellowships, providing full funding for up to two years of research at a top global centre outside Denmark.
Eligibility
- Hold a PhD degree or have completed the final PhD assessment.
- Demonstrate a solid link to Danish research through one of the following:
- Degree from a Danish research institute and subsequent employment there.
- Strong personal or family ties to Danish research.
- Commitment to return to Danish research after the fellowship.
- Applicants must not have more than three years of post‑doctoral experience.
- Candidates cannot be already affiliated with the host institution.
- Applicants cannot use the fellowship to extend another post‑doctoral stay abroad.
- Applicants must arrange accommodation and board at the host institution.

Value of the Fellowship
- DKK 450,000 per year for solo researchers.
- DKK 500,000 per year for researchers traveling with a partner.

- An additional DKK 60,000 per year may be requested for high‑rent locations.
