These bursaries provide partial funding of up to NZD 10,000 for eligible undergraduate programmes at Massey University. The award is intended for New Zealand citizens or permanent residents who encounter genuine financial hardship that could prevent them from enrolling or continuing their studies.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify, applicants must:

• Be New Zealand citizens or permanent residents.
• Be enrolled in or accepted for a full‑time undergraduate programme at Massey University.
• Demonstrate financial need through a personal statement and a detailed financial statement.
• Provide the names and contact details of two referees, preferably Massey academic staff, who can comment on academic ability and potential.

• Bachelor of Agricultural Science
• Bachelor of Agribusiness
• Bachelor of Animal Science
• Bachelor of Horticultural Science
• Bachelor of Science
• Bachelor of Information Sciences
• Bachelor of Engineering with Honours
• Bachelor of Health Science
• Any undergraduate degree offered by the Massey Business School

Value of the Bursary

Recipients can receive up to NZD 10,000, with typical awards ranging from NZD 1,000 to NZD 3,000. The funding is provided for one academic year.
