Douglas E. McDaniel Scholarship at California State University, Sacramento 2026

The Douglas E. McDaniel Scholarship is intended to assist students working toward degrees in Government, specifically within the International Relations track, at California State University, Sacramento. This award offers partial financial support and is open to both domestic and international applicants.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must be Juniors, Seniors, or Graduate students currently enrolled at CSUS.
• Must be enrolled in a Government major with a concentration in International Relations.
• Must have completed a minimum of two semesters at CSUS.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and a minimum 3.50 GPA within the major.
• Enrollment of at least half-time status (6 units minimum required).
• Submission of academic transcripts (unofficial copies are acceptable).

Preference

Selection will favor candidates showing strong academic performance, dedication to public service, senior or graduate class standing, international study experience, and foreign language proficiency.
