EMBL Fellowships 2024 – Overview
EMBL Fellowships, 2024 provide full funding for postdoctoral research in Molecular Biology. The scholarship is open to applicants of all nationalities. The deadline to apply is 13 February 2025.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants can be of any nationality.
- Candidates must hold a Ph.D. or have at least four years of research experience.
- Applicants pursuing postdoctoral research at other institutions are eligible.
- Current EMBL postdocs may apply if their affiliation does not exceed 12 months in the last three years.
- Applicants should have high motivation and interest in new research areas.
- Backgrounds in mathematics, chemistry, biology, computer science, engineering, physics, biochemistry, medicine, and molecular biology are welcome.
- Selected fellows receive secure funding for three years, pension access, and healthcare benefits.
Application Process
The application must be submitted via the programme’s online application platform. Applicants can choose from three career modules—Interdisciplinary EIPOD, International/inter-institutional EIPOD, or Intersectorial EIPOD—at the application stage or within the first 18 months of the fellowship.
