English Language Bursaries for International Students at University of Wollongong 2026
These bursaries reduce tuition costs for international students undertaking approved English language programs at the University of Wollongong.
Eligibility
Applicants must be international students holding citizenship from Central America, South America, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, or Vietnam.
- Must receive an offer for an eligible English language course.
- Study must commence in 2025 or 2026, subject to bursary terms.
- Only one UOW College scholarship or bursary may be held per course, except the Study Tour Scholarship.

Scholarship Value
- 2025 academic year: Reduced fee of AUD $399 per week (originally AUD $585).
- 2026 academic year: Reduced fee of AUD $420 per week (originally AUD $599).
Application Process
No separate application is required. The bursary is automatically applied to eligible students who receive an offer for an approved English language course. For 2026, the bursary applies to offers issued after 7 July.
