Scholarship value: Partial funding of €1,000 is provided to successful applicants.
Eligibility criteria: The €1,000 scholarship is automatically awarded to incoming first-year students who apply through the Central Applications Office (CAO) and achieve 575 CAO points or higher. For Irish Leaving Certificate holders, points must come from six subjects in a single sitting. GCE A-Level applicants are assessed based on points from three or four subjects.
Application process: All EU, EEA, and UK applicants for first-year undergraduate programmes at Maynooth University must apply through the CAO. The scholarship is awarded automatically upon meeting the academic requirements during the CAO application process.
