Gallagher Scholarship for Management Studies 2024

This scholarship provides partial funding of up to NZD 10,000 for students pursuing Management or Commerce degrees at the University of Waikato. It is open to both Bachelor and Master programmes, with a closing date of 01 Mar 2024. The award is available to Australian and New Zealand citizens or permanent residents who meet the academic and residency criteria.

Eligibility

• Completed years 1‑3 of a University of Waikato BBus or BMS(Hons) programme with at least an “A‑” average.
• Enrolled in the fourth year and planning to major in Supply Chain Management.
• Eligible for domestic fees status – Australian citizens/permanent residents living in New Zealand, or New Zealand citizens/permanent residents with a Resident Class Visa.

Selection Criteria

• Academic excellence.
• Demonstrated commitment to using supply chain management to improve New Zealand businesses and address global challenges.

Value

• $5,000 paid upon acceptance of the scholarship or after the A‑Trimester withdrawal date.
• $5,000 paid after the B‑Trimester withdrawal date, contingent on achieving at least a ‘B+’ average in the A‑Trimester.
