Global Excellence Scholarship at Teesside University 2025

The Global Excellence Scholarship is designed to support international students who exhibit academic excellence in their pursuit of higher education at Teesside University. This scholarship is available for students enrolling in either Bachelors or Masters degree programs offered by the university.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the Global Excellence Scholarship:

• Must be an international student paying full international tuition fees.
• Enrolling in a foundation, undergraduate, or postgraduate program at the university's Middlesbrough or Darlington campuses.
• Must be a full-time sponsored or self-funding student starting the course in January 2026.
• Must have paid their deposit and accepted their offer by the University-specified deadline.
• Must hold an offer by 31 October 2025 to be considered by the International Scholarships Committee.

Scholarship Benefits

The scholarship provides a £2,000 fee waiver that is applied directly to the tuition fees for the first full academic year. It is awarded as a tuition fee reduction, not as cash.

Application Process

No separate scholarship application is required. Eligible students are automatically considered based on their course application. The International Scholarships Committee reviews the information provided and selects the recipients. Successful applicants will be notified via email with further instructions on how to proceed with the deposit payment and offer acceptance.
