The Global Excellence Scholarship is crafted to assist overseas learners who showcase outstanding academic achievement while studying at Teesside University. This award is open to candidates enrolling in either Bachelor’s or Master’s degree programs provided by the institution.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfill the following requirements to qualify for the Global Excellence Scholarship:

• Must be an international student covering full international tuition fees.
• Enrolling in a foundation, undergraduate, or postgraduate program at the university’s Middlesbrough or Darlington campuses.
• Must be a full-time sponsored or self-funded student commencing studies in January 2026.
• Must have settled their deposit and confirmed their offer before the University-stated deadline.
• Must possess a formal offer by 31 October 2025 to be reviewed by the International Scholarships Committee.

Scholarship Benefits

The award grants a £2,000 fee waiver applied straight to tuition fees for the initial full academic term. It functions as a tuition fee reduction, not as a cash payout.
