The Graduate Student Teaching Assistant Award in Philosophy at the University of Waterloo is available for Master's and PhD students enrolled in the Department of Philosophy. This award provides partial funding valued at a minimum of CAD 200 annually. Eligibility Criteria
- Must be enrolled as a graduate student in the Department of Philosophy.
- Must be studying at the Master’s or Doctoral level.
- Must have served as a Teaching Assistant during any of the three academic terms in the previous year.
- Must demonstrate strong teaching performance based on faculty evaluations and feedback.
Scholarship Value and Application Process
One award valued at a minimum of $200 is awarded annually. Eligible students are automatically considered and selected by the Faculty or Department based on evidence of excellent teaching performance. No separate application is required.
