Overview

The Humboldt Research Track Scholarship 2026 is designed for outstanding Master's students and graduates planning to pursue a doctorate at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin or elsewhere. This scholarship provides partial funding of €1,000 per month for a duration of up to six months.

Financial Support

The monthly stipend is €1,000. Additional financial support includes €400 per month for the first child and €100 per month for each additional child. The total value represents partial funding to support doctoral candidates.

Eligibility Criteria

• Be an outstanding Master’s student or graduate planning to pursue a doctorate.
• Intend to undertake a PhD at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (or HU graduates may pursue a doctorate elsewhere).
• Have excellent academic results.
• Submit an original and high-quality doctoral research proposal.
• Apply during or after Master’s studies, but funding starts only after graduation.
