India Scholarship – Postgraduate at University of Lancaster 2026

The India Scholarship – Postgraduate at University of Lancaster 2026 provides partial funding of £10,000 awarded as a tuition fee reduction. This scholarship is available for Indian nationals pursuing a Masters or MBA degree at Lancaster University.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must be a national of, or a permanent resident of India.
• Applicants must have an average grade at a 1st or 2:1 level (or equivalent) in undergraduate studies, or have already achieved a 1st or 2:1 degree.
• Applicants must have accepted a conditional or unconditional offer from Lancaster University.
• Applicants in receipt of external funding will only be eligible where the external funding covers less than 50% of the tuition fee.
• Applicants must be classed as 'overseas' or 'international' fee-paying students for tuition fee purposes.

Application Process

There is no separate application process for this scholarship. Eligible students will be identified automatically through their application.

Scholarship Value and Combination Rules

The award will be worth £10,000 and will be awarded as a tuition fee reduction.

• If the applicant meets the eligibility for the Alumni Loyalty Scholarship, it can be combined with this India Scholarship – Postgraduate; however, it cannot be combined with any other scholarships awarded by Lancaster University.
• If an applicant is eligible for both the India Scholarship – Postgraduate and a scholarship and/or tuition fee discount from any of the university's international teaching partnerships, only the award of the highest value will be made.
