International Hardship Fund at University of Greenwich 2026

The International Hardship Fund was created to assist international and EU learners at the University of Greenwich who are not in receipt of a maintenance loan and have faced sudden financial challenges. The award provides partial support of GBP 1,000 to assist with unexpected costs throughout the academic term.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must hold EU or international fee-paying status.
• Full-time registration at the University of Greenwich is mandatory.
• Applicants must be undertaking undergraduate or postgraduate programmes such as BA, BEd, BSc, LLB, BEng, MEng, MMath.
• Students must be enrolled in courses offered at the university’s campuses or affiliated colleges.
• Documentation confirming total bank balances of under £500 is required.
• All tuition obligations must be current.

To submit a request for the International Hardship Fund, candidates are required to complete and send an online application form to fab@gre.ac.uk.

Value of the Scholarship

The scheme offers a highest possible grant of GBP 1,000 each academic year to assist students dealing with unanticipated financial pressures.
