NIE PhD Scholarship at NTU 2026

The NIE PhD Scholarship at NTU 2026 is a fully funded opportunity for students enrolled in a PhD program at the National Institute of Education, Singapore. The scholarship provides comprehensive financial support including annual tuition fees and a monthly stipend of up to SGD 3,800 for STEM disciplines. Additional benefits include Central Provident Fund contributions for eligible recipients and a one-time grant of up to SGD 500 per month for those passing the PhD Qualifying Examination, subject to conditions.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants may come from any nationality.
• Applicants must enroll in a full-time PhD program at the university.
• Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree with honours at least at Second Class Upper level.
• Applicants must possess a Master's degree in related disciplines and demonstrate the capability to engage in research within the suggested area of advanced study.
• Applicants must not currently hold or accept a job, or receive any other scholarship, fellowship, grant, or extra money.

The candidates must indicate their interest in applying for the scholarship in the online application form. Successful applicants are required to perform teaching or laboratory supervision duties to fulfil the requirements of the Graduate Assistantship Programme (GAP).
