International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship at the University of East Anglia 2026

The International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship is tailored for exceptional international students planning to begin undergraduate studies at the University of East Anglia. It provides a substantial annual tuition fee reduction, making selected degree programs more financially accessible.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be international students covering their own expenses and not fully funded by external bodies. To qualify, students must hold an offer for a full-time undergraduate program starting in September 2025.

Scholarship Benefits

Successful candidates can receive a tuition fee reduction between GBP 4,000 and GBP 5,000 each year. The exact amount is determined by the applicant’s academic performance. This support is intended to lessen the financial impact of tuition over the course of the degree.

Application Details

There is no separate application form for this award. Students who are eligible will be assessed automatically once they receive an offer for a qualifying program. The cutoff date to submit a program application and be considered for the scholarship is February 28, 2026.

Important Notes

Please be aware that this scholarship does not apply to certain programs, such as MBBS Medicine, BSc Physiotherapy, BSc Occupational Therapy, and specific final-year entry courses including BSc Accounting and Finance – Final Year Entry.
