This prestigious fully funded master’s program enables early‑ to mid‑career professionals from eligible African nations to study in Ireland. The scholarship covers tuition fees, flights, accommodation and living costs for a one‑year program at an Irish higher education institution.

• Eligible countries: Angola, Burundi, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Djibouti, Eritrea, Eswatini, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Malawi, Mozambique, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe
• Scholarship value: Full Funding, Tuition fees + flights + accommodation + living costs

Eligibility Requirements

• Resident national of one of the listed African countries
• Minimum two or three years of relevant work experience
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Not already holding a master’s degree or higher
• Not applying to a new master’s program in Ireland before August 2025
• Not having previously applied to the Ireland Fellows Programme more than once
• Available to begin the fellowship in the 2025/2026 academic year

Application Process

• Submit the Stage 1 application form
• Complete the Duolingo English test
• Shortlisted candidates proceed to Stage 2 and, if successful, to Stage 3 interview
