The Jack Rosen Memorial Award for Environmental Innovation at University of Waterloo 2026 is a partial funding scholarship valued at CAD 2,000. Scholarship Value and Awards
One grand prize of $2,000 is awarded to the best idea. Up to two additional honourable mentions of $500 each may also be granted.
Eligibility Criteria
- Be a full-time undergraduate or graduate student at University of Waterloo
- Be enrolled in any year within the Faculty of Environment
- Present an innovative idea (device, process, or method) addressing an environmental issue
- Participate individually or in a team of up to three students
Application Process
Applicants must submit an application that includes a digital poster presenting their environmental innovation idea. The top 10 entries are shortlisted for public display and voting, followed by final evaluation by an independent judging panel.
