The Jeff Allen Memorial Prize in Geology at the University of Auckland 2026 is a Masters and Diploma scholarship for students pursuing Earth Sciences. Eligibility

Applicants must:

  • Be enrolled full‑time in a Postgraduate Diploma in Science (Geology focus) or a Master of Science in Earth Science.
  • Be returning to academia after a significant period away.
  • Achieve the highest overall marks in their program.
  • Note that the prize may not be awarded if no candidate meets the required merit.
  • In case of a tie, the Head of School decides if the prize can be shared.
