Eligibility Criteria
- Be full-time doctoral students registered or planning to register in the Biostatistics program at University of Waterloo
- Be enrolled in the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science within the Faculty of Mathematics
- Have a minimum cumulative average of 80% or equivalent
- Demonstrate strong research potential.
Scholarship Value
The scholarship is valued at a minimum of $2,000 and is awarded annually in addition to existing funding.
Application Process
Students applying for admission are automatically considered through their admission application. Current students must submit a one-page research statement and a nomination form from their graduate supervisor or another supporting faculty member to the SAS graduate studies office.
