Kate Neal Kinley Memorial Fellowship at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign 2026

The Kate Neal Kinley Memorial Fellowship is offered for Masters and PhD degree programs in the fields of Art, Architecture, Dance, Landscape Architecture, Music, Theatre, and Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. This fellowship provides partial funding to assist with travel and research expenses for selected candidates.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must intend to study architecture, art, dance, landscape architecture, music, theater, or urban and regional planning.
• Open to graduates of the College of Fine and Applied Arts at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign or similar institutions.
• Applicants who have not reached their 25th birthday are given preference.
• Selection is based on academic marks and the quality of work submitted or performed.

All eligible candidates must apply online to be considered for the fellowship. The application is submitted through the official university portal.

Value of the Fellowship

The Kate Neal Kinley Memorial Fellowship recipients will receive

• $20,000 for art and design, dance, instrumental or vocal music, or theatre;
• One of less than $20,000 in any field of music;
• One of less than $20,000 in any field of study within the College of Fine and Applied Arts.
