KEEN Graduate Entrance Scholarship at University of Waterloo 2026

The KEEN Graduate Entrance Scholarship is offered by the University of Waterloo for Master’s degree students in Environment-related disciplines. The scholarship provides partial funding of CAD 5,000, with two awards valued at $5,000 each granted annually. Applicants must have a minimum cumulative average of 80% or equivalent and be entering students in the Faculty of Environment.

Eligibility Criteria

• Apply for full-time admission to one of the following Master’s programs at the University of Waterloo: Master of Climate Change (MCC), Master of Development Practice (MDP), or Master of Economic Development and Innovation (MEDI).
• Have a minimum cumulative average of 80% or equivalent.
• Be entering students in the Faculty of Environment.
• Preference is given to applicants who demonstrate leadership skills and show evidence of community engagement through their graduate admission application.

Value and Application Process

The scholarship value is Partial Funding, CAD 5,000, with two scholarships awarded annually. No separate scholarship application is required. Eligible students are automatically considered through their graduate program admission application. The application deadline is 10 Aug, 2026.
