L-EARN for Impact Scholarship 2025 at Erasmus University Rotterdam

The L-EARN for Impact Scholarship is a partial funding opportunity provided by Erasmus University Rotterdam for international students from developing countries. It supports Master's degree programmes in the fields of Genomics in Society, Infection and Immunity, and Molecular Medicine at the Erasmus Medical Centre.

Scholarship Value and Funding

Successful candidates receive a scholarship worth EUR 17,500 along with an additional tuition fee waiver. This partial funding is designed to support students pursuing eligible Research Master's programmes.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must be citizens of one of the designated developing countries.
• Applicants must have excellent academic standing, requiring at least a grade 8.0 on the Dutch grading scale.
• Applicants must enroll in one of the specified Research Master's programmes: Genomics in Society, Infection and Immunity, or Molecular Medicine.
• Applicants must possess relevant working experience after completing their bachelor's degree.
• Applicants must commit to returning to their home country after graduation to contribute to national development.

Application Process

1. Candidates must first apply for an eligible Research Master's programme through the EUR Admissions Portal.
2. Applicants must then send an email to internationaloffice@erasmusmc.nl indicating their interest in the L-EARN for Impact Scholarship.
3. The International Office will review the request and inform the candidate when to complete the formal scholarship application via the EUR Admissions Portal.

The application submission requires several components, including a Curriculum Vitae in PDF format, a grade list of the highest degree obtained, a motivation letter addressing specific background and career questions, and a budget plan in PDF format.
