International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship at University of Leicester 2026

The International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship is intended for overseas students who wish to undertake a Bachelor's program at the University of Leicester. This award does not cover studies in medicine, LLB Maitrise, or specific foundation and first-year modules.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must be categorized as international students for tuition fee classification.
• Candidates must be applying for, or moving on to, a full-time, campus-based undergraduate course beginning in September 2026.
• Students should present exceptional academic performance, generally achieving two grades higher than the standard UK A-level entry requirement for their selected subject.
• Applicants must attain the grades necessary in an international qualification that is equivalent to British A-levels.
• All conditions outlined in the offer letter must be satisfied if a conditional offer has been issued.

Scholarship Benefits

• An annual tuition fee reduction of GBP 5,000.
• The financial award is credited toward the standard tuition fee for each year of the program.
