Marie D Albini Scholarship at University of Auckland 2025

The Marie D Albini Scholarship provides partial funding of up to NZD 6,000 for one year to study Music at the University of Auckland. The award is available to both domestic and international students pursuing a Bachelor of Music (BMus) or a related conjoint degree in Creative Practice: Classical, with a focus on singing.

Eligibility

• Open to all nationalities.
• Applicants must be enrolled, or planning to enroll, in a Bachelor of Music or an associated conjoint degree in Creative Practice: Classical, where the major is singing, within the School of Music at the University of Auckland for the upcoming academic year.

Selection Criteria

• Performance of a singing examination that includes a recitative, an aria, a German Lied, and an English‑language art song.
• The total examination time must not exceed twenty minutes.

Value

Two scholarships are awarded each year, each worth $6,000, and they are tenable for up to one year.
