Massey University Doctoral Conference Grants 2026

Overview

The Massey University Doctoral Conference Grants 2026 support doctoral and postdoctoral candidates pursuing research in all subjects offered by the university. The scholarship provides partial funding, covering up to NZD 2,000 for conference attendance. This award is available to both domestic and international students without nationality restrictions.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must be doctoral students who have successfully completed their confirmation event.
• Applicants must have a research presentation formally accepted for a conference.
• Students must provide evidence of the conference presentation acceptance.
• Preference is given to students attending conferences in their second or third year of study.
• Preference is given to applicants who have not previously received this grant.

Selection Criteria

• The submitted paper must represent a new, original contribution or clearly justify extensions of prior work.
• The candidate must be the lead presenter at the conference.
• The primary supervisor must fully support the work and be listed as a co-author.

Funding Value

• Up to NZD 1,000 for nationally or domestically run conferences.
• Up to NZD 2,000 for international conferences.
