The Merit Fellowship Award provides partial funding through a 50% tuition fee waiver for newly admitted Master's and PhD students across all academic disciplines at United Arab Emirates University. Applicants must demonstrate excellent academic standing with a minimum GPA of 3.8 out of 4.0 and maintain this academic performance throughout their studies.

This scholarship is specifically designed for students enrolled in STEM and strategic priority areas, including renewable energy, transportation, health, water resources, technology, and space fields. The program is open to all nationalities, though candidates must not hold any other financial sponsorship or award.

Eligibility Requirements

• Applicants must have Excellent Academic Standing with a GPA of at least 3.8/4.0
• Must maintain a GPA of 3.8/4.0 or higher during study at UAEU
• Must have no other financial sponsorship or award

Application Process

The application form must be completed after course registration in the graduate program and submitted during the first two weeks of classes.
