The Michael John Vince (Slade Shipping Far East) Scholarship at the Singapore University of Technology and Design supports meritorious undergraduate students. This award provides partial funding of $15,000 per academic year to cover tuition fees and other study-related expenses.

Eligibility Criteria

The scholarship is open to students of any nationality who are full-time second-year undergraduates enrolled in the Engineering Systems and Design (Supply Chain & Logistics track) degree programme. Applicants must maintain good academic standing and demonstrate leadership potential, good moral character, and community spirit.

Application Process

Eligible existing students will be invited to apply via MyPortal. Late and incomplete submissions will not be processed. Scholarships are awarded competitively among eligible applicants, and the SUTD selection committee’s decision is final. No bond is required, but recipients must take up the Singapore Government Tuition Grant Scheme.

• Successful recipients may apply for the scholarship in subsequent academic years, subject to meeting prevailing eligibility criteria.
• The scholarship is valued at S$15,000 per academic year and is tenable for one academic year.
• Recipients are encouraged to undertake an internship with the donor.
