Norman C. T. Liu Aviation Scholarship 2026

The Norman C. T. Liu Aviation Scholarship is awarded to non‑EU candidates who wish to study the MSc in Aviation Finance at UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School. The scholarship provides financial support for half of the tuition fees.

Scholarship Details

• Degree: MSc in Aviation Finance (full‑time)
• Provider: UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School
• Scholarship value: Only tuition fees, 50% tuition fees
• Eligibility: Open to non‑EU applicants
• Application deadline: 30 April 2026

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

• Hold an undergraduate degree equivalent to an Irish First Class Honours (Hons 1.1).
• Submit a strong curriculum vitae/resume.
• Answer two essay questions in the course application, each 300 words, with excellent writing quality.
• Meet the minimum English Language Requirement:
  • IELTS 7.0 overall minimum, or
  • TOEFL 100/120, or
  • Equivalent recognized test scores.
• Ensure the chosen programme is eligible (UCD Belfield programmes run with UCD Smurfit School in certain MSc courses are not eligible).

Application Process

To apply for this scholarship, candidates must submit a course application for the MSc Aviation Finance Full‑Time and be in receipt of an offer for the MSc in Aviation Finance Programme.

• The completed application must be received by 5:00 pm (GMT) on 30 April 2026.
• There is no separate application process for the scholarship; the scholarship is considered during the normal programme application.
