This scholarship provides up to NZD 13,500 in partial funding for students pursuing research in medicine and related health sciences. It is awarded annually, with a maximum of two scholarships available each year for a period of up to one year.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be New Zealand citizens or permanent residents. They must have successfully completed Part III of the MBChB program and be enrolled, or intend to enroll, in the Bachelor of Medical Sciences (Honours) research year. A minimum GPA of 7.00 is required, with a reduced threshold of 6.50 for Māori and Pacific candidates.
