Qalaa Holdings Scholarships 2026 Overview

The Qalaa Holdings Scholarships 2026 supports Egyptian nationals seeking Masters or PhD degrees at top universities abroad. Applicants must be under 35 years old and currently residing in Egypt.

Eligibility Criteria

• Be under 35 years old at the time of application.
• Be an Egyptian national and currently residing in Egypt.
• Have a minimum of 2 years of full-time work experience after graduation.
• Be planning to pursue studies at a top university abroad.
• Have already received formal acceptance into a university program.
• Submit an unconditional acceptance letter (conditional only if funding-dependent).
• Have excellent command of the language of study, usually English.
• Demonstrate genuine financial need.
• Not be a beneficiary of other partial scholarships or grants except university fee waivers.
• Be willing to return to work in Egypt for at least 2 years after completing the degree.
• Have clear military service status for male applicants.
• Involvement in civic or volunteer activities is an asset but not mandatory.

Value of Qalaa Holdings Scholarships 2026

The QHSF funds under two schemes: the full scholarship covering tuition and living expenses and the partial scholarship covering tuition only. The ceiling for tuition fees is 50,000 USD per annum.

Applications are accepted annually from 15 January to 15 April. Required documents include:

• Completed QHSF application form
• Copy of university acceptance letter
• Copy of application submitted to the university
• Updated CV
• Two reference letters
• Military service certificate for males
