Ralph & Eve Seelye Undergraduate Scholarship at University of Auckland 2025

This scholarship provides partial funding of up to NZD 6,000 per annum for students undertaking a full‑time undergraduate degree at the University of Auckland. Up to ten scholarships are awarded each year, covering the duration of the recipient’s first bachelor’s programme.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

• Be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident.
• Be in the final year of study at a decile 1‑3 school or kura.
• Intend to enrol full‑time in a University of Auckland undergraduate degree the following year.
• Be eligible for Māori or Pacific consideration if enrolling in the Certificate in Health Sciences with a plan to progress to a degree in the second year.

Selection Criteria

The selection process evaluates:

• Financial Need: based on the applicant’s financial circumstances.
• Motivation to Succeed: demonstrated through a personal statement and community reference.
• Academic Ability: assessed using NCEA Level 2 results or an equivalent qualification.
