Senior Scholar Award at University of Auckland 2026
The Senior Scholar Award at the University of Auckland recognizes graduating students with the highest marks in their undergraduate program. Each faculty receives a number of awards based on eligible graduates.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be eligible to graduate with an undergraduate degree or diploma.
- Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 6.50 across the courses considered for this assessment.
- Science: GPA excludes 600/700-level courses.
- Education and Social Work: GPA based on final 120 points.
- BE (Hons): Eligible to graduate with a minimum 6.50 honours GPA.
- Law: GPA based on 390 points, excluding honours and exchange credits.
- MBChB: Eligible to graduate, with at least 4 distinctions in Part VI and an overall distinction in Part V.
Value and Application Process
The value of the awards will be $500 each.
No separate application is necessary. All eligible applicants will be automatically considered for the scholarship.
