Sim Yung Chong Medical Scholarship at NTU 2025

This undergraduate scholarship supports students enrolled in NTU’s medical programme. It provides partial funding of SGD 15,000 each academic year.

Eligibility

• Open to Singapore citizens and permanent residents.
• Applicants must hold an offer for a bachelor’s course in medicine at NTU.
• Qualifications include Singapore‑Cambridge GCE ‘A’ levels, a local polytechnic diploma, NUS High School Diploma, or an IB Diploma.
• Demonstrated community service, leadership, and financial need are valued.
• Preference is given to candidates who can speak Mandarin.

Application Process

Eligible candidates must apply online and submit the following:

• Recent passport‑size digital photo.
• Family identification and income documents together with the Document Checklist.
• A referee’s appraisal completed online.
• A personal essay of up to 300 words.

Value

Successful scholars receive SGD 15,000 per academic year from NTU.
