The University of Manchester offers Sport Scholarships to support dual-career athletes in balancing high-level sport with academic study. The scholarship provides partial funding worth up to GBP 9,000 and is open to all nationalities.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be full-time or part-time undergraduate or postgraduate students at the University of Manchester, or prospective students with an offer to start in September 2026. Candidates must compete at the UK Junior National level or equivalent in a Sport England/UK Sport-recognized sport and be contracted to a professional or semi-professional club competing at a national or international level. A commitment to personal excellence and balancing sports with academics is required.
