Overview

The Sports Scholarship - Continuing Students at University of Wollongong, Dubai 2026 provides tuition fee coverage of up to 25% for both bachelor's and master's degree students. This merit-based award is granted before the start of the Autumn semester each academic year.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must maintain a minimum cumulative Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 65% in their current studies.
• Eligible students must have completed at least 36 credit points (for undergraduate applicants).
• Students must receive a recommendation from the UOWD Sports Coordinator based on high performance in UOWD sports teams or significant leadership in sports programs at UOWD or a national level.

Scholarship Value and Retention

The scholarship covers only tuition fees, up to a maximum of 25% per academic year. Recipients must participate significantly in one or more UOWD sports teams during each subsequent semester to maintain the award. Active participation in all practice sessions and competitions is assessed by the Manager, Student Services.

Application Process

• Applicants must meet all additional university admission requirements.
• Required documents include academic transcripts, completion certificates, awards, referee reports, and alumni ID as appropriate.
• Applications must be submitted by the deadline of 10 August 2026.
