Steve Ashton Scholarship for the Architectural Profession (SASAP) 2025

This scholarship provides partial financial support for students pursuing architecture‑related qualifications at Swinburne University of Technology. It is awarded annually with a closing date of 28 Feb 2026. The opportunity is available to Australian, New Zealand citizens, permanent residents and international students who have completed an accredited architecture course and are enrolled in a full‑time or part‑time program at Swinburne in 2025.

Eligibility

• Open to Australian, New Zealand citizens, permanent residents and international students.
• Applicants must have completed an accredited architecture program and be enrolled in a full‑time or part‑time Vocational Education or Postgraduate qualification at Swinburne University of Technology in 2025.
• Eligible study areas include Business Administration, Finance, Entrepreneurship and related fields.
• Membership with the Royal Australian Institute of Architects (RAIA) is not required but is viewed favourably.

Application Process

To apply, candidates must submit either a written statement or a short video (maximum two minutes) that outlines their professional achievements, contributions to the architectural community, examples of leadership and how they intend to use the scholarship to create positive impact.

Value and Benefits

The scholarship offers financial assistance that varies by study level:

• Diploma level: up to $10,000
• Graduate Certificate level: up to $15,000
• Graduate Diploma level: up to $22,500
• Masters by coursework: up to $30,000 per annum

Payments are made bi‑annually and are available for both full‑time and part‑time students, with part‑time support up to $15,000 per annum.
