The Jackson Family Foundation Scholarship at Auckland University of Technology 2025

This scholarship provides partial funding of up to NZD 10,000 annually for eligible women of Cook Island heritage pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate study at AUT.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must be women of Cook Island descent who are New Zealand citizens or permanent residents.
• Must be enrolled full‑time in any year of an undergraduate or postgraduate program at AUT.
• First‑year entrants need a minimum NCEA Level 2 rank score; continuing students must maintain a GPA of at least 3.5.
• Demonstrated financial hardship that could impede study is required.

Application Process

Eligible candidates submit an online application through the AUT scholarship portal, including:

• A one‑page personal statement detailing their connection to the Cook Islands, academic motivation, and financial circumstances.
• Current NCEA results or academic transcripts for any prior tertiary study.
• A recommendation from an independent referee.

Value of the Scholarship

Recipients receive a stipend of up to NZD 10,000 per year, paid in monthly installments across two continuous semesters of full‑time study.
