This undergraduate scholarship provides financial support covering only tuition fees, up to NZD 5000, for students enrolled in any field of study at AUT. Eligibility and Value

• Eligibility: Open to all nationalities; preference is given to recent graduates (within two years) of East Tamaki Secondary Schools who can demonstrate financial hardship.
• Value: Up to NZD 5000 toward tuition fees only.

Application Requirements

• Proof of admission or enrollment in an AUT undergraduate program.
• Academic transcripts from prior study (if not completed at AUT).
• A personal statement—delivered as a video (max 3 minutes), essay, or letter (max 2 pages)—detailing financial hardship and career aspirations.

Applicants must be permanent residents or citizens of New Zealand, or meet the specified residency criteria. The scholarship aims to support students who require a pre‑degree pathway, lack standard university entrance qualifications, or need confidence before commencing a bachelor’s degree.
