This scholarship provides Partial Funding of NZD 5,000 to international students undertaking Honours or Master’s programmes in International Relations or Strategic Studies at Victoria University of Wellington.

Eligibility

Applicants must be enrolled in an Honours or Master’s programme in International Relations or Strategic Studies at Victoria University of Wellington. Both full‑time and part‑time students are eligible.

Selection Criteria

Selection is based on academic merit and relevance to the field of International Relations or Strategic Studies. Candidates must demonstrate strong academic performance and a clear interest in international governance, multilateral diplomacy, or cooperation in political, economic, or security fields.

A completed online application must be submitted by 30 June 2025. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted. The application form is available here.

Award Details

The scholarship is valued at NZD 5,000 and is awarded as partial funding. Recipients are required to write a thank‑you letter to the donor’s family and may be invited to an informal meeting with them. If studying part‑time, the scholarship may be prorated at the panel’s discretion.
