Trimble Karahipi Hangarau / Technology Scholarship at Victoria University of Wellington 2025

This scholarship provides NZD 7,000 of partial funding for students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related disciplines at Victoria University of Wellington.

Eligibility

Applicants must be enrolling in their penultimate or final year of a programme accredited in Design Innovation, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Design Technology, Electric & Computer System Engineering, or Software Engineering at Victoria University of Wellington.

Eligible candidates are New Zealand citizens, permanent residents, or holders of a resident visa.

Application Process

Submit a completed online application by the deadline of 31 Oct 2025. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted.

Selection Criteria

The recipient is chosen based on academic performance, portfolio of submitted work, and, where relevant, financial need.

Award Details

The scholarship is paid in two equal instalments—one in Trimester 1 and one in Trimester 2. Recipients receive mentoring and support from Trimble from day one and must submit a thank‑you letter outlining their research and progress toward graduation.

Applications close on 31 Oct 2025; interviews are held in November, and the successful recipient is notified in December.
