This scholarship provides partial funding of NZD 5,000 per annum for students beginning a Product Design degree at the University of Canterbury.
Application and Deadline
Submit your application here. The closing date is 15 August 2023. Applications open eight weeks before the deadline.
Eligible Programs
The scholarship applies to the following undergraduate programmes:
- Bachelor of Product Design (BProdDesign)
- Conjoint Bachelor of Product Design and Bachelor of Commerce (BProdDesign/BCom)
- Conjoint Bachelor of Product Design and Bachelor of Science (BProdDesign/BSc)
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have completed, or be completing, a university entrance‑level qualification. They must have studied at secondary level in New Zealand or overseas at Te Aho o Te Kura Pounamu in the application year (or the preceding year if taking a gap year).
Selection Criteria
Selection is based on demonstrated potential in innovative product design, game software development, or exceptional design communication, together with strong academic achievement as shown by NCEA or equivalent qualifications.
