UCLA Law Achievement Fellowship Program 2026

The UCLA Law Achievement Fellowship Program 2026 provides full funding for Juris Doctor candidates, covering tuition and mandatory fees for up to three academic years. The award amount includes full resident tuition and fees for California residents, while non-residents receive full non-resident tuition in the first year and full resident tuition in the second and third years, provided residency requirements are met. The UCLA Health Insurance Fee is not covered under this fellowship.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must be applying for admission to the Juris Doctor (J.D.) program at UCLA School of Law.
• Demonstrated strong academic achievement and high potential for success in law school.
• Must have overcome significant obstacles or disadvantages.
• Must complete the UCLA School of Law application and submit a one-page essay describing the obstacles overcome.
• Must take the LSAT or GRE no later than November 30, 2026.
• Must apply by the fellowship application deadline and not apply through the Early Decision program.

Application Process

1. Complete and submit the UCLA School of Law J.D. application.
2. Take the LSAT or GRE by November 30, 2026.
3. Submit all required application materials by December 15, 2026.

This fellowship is open to all nationals. The application deadline for the program is 30 November 2026. Applicants may apply to the Distinguished Scholars Program but not the Early Decision program. The scholarship value encompasses full tuition and mandatory fees, with specific coverage varying by residency status for the full three-year duration.
