University of Auckland Academic Potential Scholarship – Pathway Programme Students 2025

This undergraduate scholarship is offered by the University of Auckland for international students pursuing any subject area. You can submit your application through the official form here. The closing date is 13 August 2025, and the award provides partial funding of up to NZD $25,000.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must be New Zealand citizens or permanent residents.
• Applicants must be currently enrolled in a Tertiary Foundation Certificate (TFC) or Certificate in Health Sciences (CertHSc).
• Applicants must intend to enrol full‑time in an undergraduate degree at the University of Auckland the following year.
• Applicants must meet the GPA requirements for the relevant tier:
  • Tier 1: minimum estimated GPA of 5.60.
  • Tier 2: minimum estimated GPA of 4.20.
  • Tier 3: minimum estimated GPA of 3.50.

Value of the Scholarship

Awards are offered in three tiers, each valued up to NZD $25,000. The Review Committee determines the tier and corresponding amount for each successful applicant.
