Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident.
- Must be in the final year of study at a New Zealand secondary school or kura.
- Students studying overseas who have completed at least Year 11 at a New Zealand secondary school and are currently enrolled in an NCEA, IB, or CIE programme may also apply.
- Māori and Pacific applicants intending to enrol in a Certificate of Health Sciences at the University of Auckland may be eligible.
Academic Requirements
- Tier 1: Minimum NCEA rank score of 240, CIE rank score of 300, or predicted IB score of 32.
- Tier 2: Minimum NCEA rank score of 220, CIE rank score of 260, or predicted IB score of 29.
- Tier 3: Minimum NCEA rank score of 200, CIE rank score of 200, or predicted IB score of 27.
Value of the Scholarship
Awards are granted in three tiers, each with a maximum value of NZD $25,000. The Review Committee determines the tier awarded to each successful applicant.
